Our Fifth General Assembly was held on Tuesday 14th February 2012 (14:00 – 16:00 CET), at the EBU in Geneva, Switzerland. The announcement was here.
Anyone is welcome to attend the General Assembly but only members can vote, and we have to give preference to members if we run out of space in the room. You can also join by telephone conference call/webinar.
The General Assembly is our annual event at which the Steering Board and members report on our activities in 2011, and present our plans for 2012. Each of our Working Teams (RadioVIS, RadioEPG, RadioTAG etc.) will report on their progress.
We try and keep these meetings quite short, because we know that it’s difficult for people on the telephone conference call, and across many time zones.

Radio HackDay 2012
Following on from last year’s very successful event, RadioDNS will be participating in a Radio Hackday on 13th and 14th February, also at the EBU in Geneva. This is very much a hands-on event for software developers from broadcasters, service providers, network operators and manufacturers.
The programme for the HackDay has now been published, and it’s an exceptionally good lineup of workshops and opportunities. If you’re looking to get practical experience of using hybrid radio, this will be an ideal environment. Find out more details and register on the EBU Technical Website.
