At our Tenth General Assembly (9th February 2016, EBU, Geneva), we held an election for the role of Chair vacated by Nick Piggott’s change of role to Project Director.
We’re pleased to say that Mathias Coinchon (EBU, Switzerland) was unanimously elected as Chair of RadioDNS. Mathias has been an eloquent supporter of hybrid radio within the European broadcasting sector, and has worked hard to bring a large number of the EBU’s members onto their Radio Manager platform.
As a result of Mathias become Chair, we also elected a new Secretary, and Floris Daelemans (VRT, Belgium) won unanimously.
Finally, we were able to hold an election for a newly vacated Steering Board position, and Joe D’Angelo (DTS, USA) was elected after a strong contest between three nominees.
We congratulate Mathias, Floris and Joe on their election to the RadioDNS board, and look forward to their contributions to the direction of the project in 2016.
As a reminder, our next scheduled Board elections will be at the Eleventh General Assembly, in February 2017. All roles will be (re)elected then.
