Rosie Kendrick 5th January 2021

Hi and Happy New Year!

2020 has certainly been different, but it has still been very busy for us.

This year, we were able to launch our new website and publish our Radio Device Metadata Terms of Use.  We have been active with WorldDAB in organising three Automotive Workshops encouraging discussions between automotive manufacturers and broadcasters.  The next one is scheduled for February, if you would like to get your name on the list please email us.

We have unfortunately had to say goodbye to 2 of our members for 2021, but the good news is that IEEE and Konsole Labs are in the process of joining, so we will still have the highest number of members we ever have.  Thanks for your support, we really appreciate it, and if you would like more information about joining RadioDNS you can find out more details here.

We already have some plans for 2021, including a new monthly podcast launching in January, we will let you know as soon as it is available.  We are due to be at CES in January and Radiodays in the Spring.  Our General Assembly is in February and our Automotive Workshops will be taking place throughout the year.

Our Technical Group is busy working on the analytics we can provide to broadcasters.  This and other projects are ways in which we have been continually thinking of ways we can make RadioDNS evolve with the needs of our members.

Thanks again for your support this year, and your continued support in 2021, we really can’t do the work we do without our supporters and our members.  Member invoices are due for payment now and it really helps us if they can be paid by the deadline.

We hope your 2020 has turned out to be as good as it could have been, and we wish you the very best for 2021!

Nick (Project Director) and Rosie (Project Co-Ordinator)
