Hubbard joins RadioDNS

Rosie Kendrick 28th December 2021

We are delighted that Hubbard Radio, part of US radio and TV broadcaster Hubbard Broadcasting, has become a member of RadioDNS.

Broadcasters for almost 100 years, Hubbard Broadcasting began as a small company and now broadcasts across the whole of the US and has a reputation of being an industry leader in technology, journalism, advertising, entertainment, community service, and broadcast innovation.  We’re very much looking forward to supporting Hubbard as they develop their hybrid radio presence.

Nick Piggott, Project Director of RadioDNS said, “We’re really pleased to have welcomed Hubbard Radio into RadioDNS. They’re already doing some fantastic work with their hybrid radio systems, and contributing to development of new functionality. It’s a very active engagement, and we encourage that from all our members.”

Jeremy Sinon, VP Digital Strategy, Hubbard Radio said, “As vehicle dashboards continue to evolve we recognize the importance of making sure our stations look as good as they sound. Working with RadioDNS is one of the ways we get there. We also look forward to contributing to the great work that RadioDNS is doing to help create data standards for the betterment of the entire radio industry.

Since joining RadioDNS, Hubbard Radio has taken an active role within the RadioDNS Technical Group.  Participation is only allowed for members and the group works in teams to create and define our technical standards. Our teams are places for broadcasters, manufacturers and technology providers to discuss interactively and in detail how to create standards for great new hybrid radio functionality.

Membership not only supports the vital work being done by RadioDNS in the area of hybrid radio, but our members influence the direction of the organisation or the projects we pursue.
