NABA (North American Broadcasters Association) and WorldDAB have today published new Automotive User Experience Guideline documents that have been created as a result of joint consultation between the two organisations. RadioDNS contributed supporting information for the new sections on hybrid radio.
Whilst each document reflects regional requirements and priorities between North America and Europe, the fundamentals of the guidelines are identical. This alignment makes it easier for global automotive manufacturers to implement one radio experience that is best-in-class across both continents.
Both documents recognise the important role of hybrid radio in improving the user experience, and reference the RadioDNS standards with their recommendations.
We’re really pleased to have contributed to this work, and help support manufacturers and broadcasters in building the best possible experiences of broadcast radio for drivers on both sides of the Atlantic.
